Mentoring has become a popular feature of our boards conference and National Housing Summit. Now it is a feature of Housing Governance 2024. If you are a new governance professional or company secretary attending this event, this is for you.
Mentoring is a fantastic opportunity to discuss your working style, challenges and career goals with an experienced professional. The mentors at this event represent some of the most knowledgeable people in social housing governance. Mentees will be paired with mentors based on their stated challenges and background.

Lucy Rickson
Head of Governance, Plymouth Community HomesLucy Rickson is Head of Governance at Plymouth Community Homes and has over 20 years’ experience of housing association governance and regulation. Lucy has worked at several housing associations in the south west and has been integral to the transfer of council homes to new housing associations. Lucy also co-chairs the NHF Governance Forum.
Sharon Woods
Head of Corporate Services, Black Country Housing GroupSharon is an experienced Company Secretary working at a strategic level in social housing, with significant experience in corporate governance, business transformation, risk management and strategic planning gained in the sector over the past 21 years. Her energy and enthusiasm has shaped the association by leading change, intelligent transformation, and supporting leadership development.
Tabitha Kassem
Head of Governance, Heylo HousingZoe Ollerearnshaw
Group Company Secretary, Hyde HousingZoe is Hyde’s Group Company Secretary, working closely with the Board and the rest of the Hyde Leadership Team. She’s a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute and has 20 years’ experience in the social housing sector, having been responsible for providing company secretarial, governance and compliance services for a range of registered providers. Zoe was part of the consultation panel that shaped the NHF Code of Governance om 2020 and co-Chairs the NHF Governance Forum. She’s a qualified Risk Practitioner and acts as Hyde’s Data Protection Officer and Money Laundering Reporting Officer.
